The organizers of the Mobile Games Forum presented a small e-book History Of Mobile Gaming. As a brief squeeze, they published an infographic on the history of mobile games.
The original volume of history is a thin brochure (16 pages). The authors of the work take as a starting point the appearance of the mobile version of Snake in 1997, which was preinstalled on Nokia 6110. The book ends with the mention of 80 Days and Samsung VR. However, the latest event in the infographic, which is presented below, marked another event – the refusal to use the word Nokia in the Lumia series, replacing it with the name Microsoft.
MGF is a series of Mobile Games Forum events with a 12-year history. The OsneyMedia company, specializing in holding mass events, acts as its organizers. MGF is currently being held in London, Hong Kong and Seattle.
