The volume of the US mobile games market last month amounted to $274 million. In total, American users spent $1.1 billion on games (in all segments). This is 25% more than in November last year.

The main driver of growth was sales of console and PC games (including digital sales, which jumped by 41% compared to the same period in 2012).

Also, after a slight decline observed in late summer – early September (which was also evidenced by a temporary drop in the cost of a loyal user), the mobile segment showed good growth.

As analysts from Superdata write, Supercell and King, who aggressively bought up users, are to be thanked for this growth. Moreover, their main task was not to increase their own user base, but not to let competitors into the box office top.

Thanks to this, the total volume of mobile sales in November amounted to $274 million. Revenues for the same period last year were 34% less.
