Apptopia has published an interesting infographic: in how many days mobile games overcame the bar of 100 million downloads on iOS. Super Mario Run achieved this the fastest.

The Nintendo game took only 68 days to do this. Apptopia notes that the company spent quite a lot of money on marketing and a week before the release received a place for the game in the App Store feature. In addition, the game was released during the holidays, when downloads are traditionally high, and carried a charge of nostalgia for the classic series. However, it is worth recalling that Super Mario Run had a freemium monetization model, and in two years the game earned $ 60 million, which is not so much compared to top mobile titles.

Pokémon Go took three days longer to get one hundred million downloads, Fortnite Mobile reached this figure in 138 days, and Clash Royale – in 607. Apptopia also predicts that downloads of PUBG Mobile and another royal battle – Rules of Survival from NetEase will reach up to one hundred million.
