Online gaming media IGN has acquired the Humble Bundle company, known for selling video game sets and other content on the principle of “pay as much as you want”.

The amount of the transaction was not disclosed.

The co-founder and CEO of Humble Bundle Jeffrey Rosen promised that the work of the service will not change for users, and IGN’s participation will help the company raise even more money for charity.

“IGN understands our vision, shares our passion for games, and believes in helping those in need through the promotion of great digital content. I can’t think of a better partner for Humble Bundle than IGN to help us continue the mission,” Rosen wrote.

The Humble Bundle digital distribution service was launched in 2010. The company helps organizations such as Action Against Hunger, American Red Cross, Electronic Frontier Foundation, and others.

In February 2017, Humble Bundle launched a publishing division for publishing games on PC and consoles.
