Tencent and Huawei are working together on a new cloud service. The platform itself is from Tencent (it’s called GameMatrix). Computing power — from Huawei.
According to Reuters, the partners are also exploring innovations in the field of augmented reality and the use of AI in game development. All of this will be connected to the cloud infrastructure in some way. The project is being created in a new joint laboratory of the gaming giant and a major smartphone manufacturer.
