Nintendo has sold over 500,000 Nintendo Switches in its home country.
Since March 3, the total number of sales in Japan has reached 519,504 units, with 78,441 units sold from March 20 to March 26.
In total, 1.5 million consoles were sold in the world in two weeks after the launch.
The success prompted Nintendo to increase the pace of release of the Nintendo Switch. It is reported that its production has doubled to 16 million consoles. The company expects to sell 10 million consoles by the end of this year.
