In April, the Google Ads service will be supplemented with a new section — Policy Manager. This is a tool designed to analyze ads and advertiser accounts for violations of Google policy.
Policy Manager will help advertisers avoid mistakes that may cause their ads to be rejected by the service, according to the Google Ads blog. The tool will check ads, extensions and keywords. Moreover, all violations found will be displayed in the user’s account.
In some cases, Policy Manager will check ads even at the stage of their creation. If he finds inconsistencies with the rules, he will immediately ask the advertiser to make corrections.
If desired, the advertiser will be able to appeal against the decision of Google Ads to ban the display of the ad. Google has promised to simplify the appeal process to two or three clicks. In addition, the appeal status will always be displayed in the Policy Manager.
Subsequently, Google plans to introduce new features to the section. For example, the Policy Manager will have recommendations on how to eliminate violations of the rules, and the history of appeals filed.
