An investment syndicate has announced its readiness to support promising games not only directly but also through a three-way collaboration with publishers.

According to Pavel Ryäkkönen, founder of GameXCap, this format of collaboration benefits all parties involved.

“Developers receive an expert partner along with a budget, the publisher reduces development costs, and as for the investors, they minimize risks,” Ryäkkönen explains.

The work format depends on the situation. In some cases, GameXCap offers a selected project to publishing partners, and in others, a publisher approaches the syndicate with a project.

Regardless of the scenario, investments will be directed to the developer's account. The syndicate does not claim a share of the publisher’s future revenue. Its focus is on revenue sharing from the developer’s earnings, a stake in the studio, or a hybrid model.

Currently, GameXCap is open to interactions with experienced publishers interested in strong projects who wish to expand their portfolio but are not ready to finance every project's development independently.

“For us, the involvement of a publisher is additional validation of the project. For the publisher, it's an opportunity to work with a broader number of games without tying up all the capital required for development. And the studio receives both financing and publishing expertise at the same time,” adds Ryäkkönen.

To remind, GameXCap is a syndicate for financing game projects, acting as a professional filter and deal organizer: from project search and analysis to support post-investment. They consider investments starting from $50,000, with a typical check ranging from $50,000 to $300,000.

They find promising game projects, conduct initial selection, structure investment deals, and attract investors who want to invest in games but lack the time, expertise, and quality deal flow.

Developers can apply for investment in this form. As for publishers, they can contact Pavel directly at (pavel@wn.media).
