Sales for the first half of the year amounted to $142 million (€127 million). This is 15% more than in the same period of 2014, but 6% less than in the previous six months.

For the second quarter of 2015, which ended in June for the company, sales reached $69 million (€61.9 million). The amount is 12% higher than in the second quarter of 2014. However, compared to the first quarter of 2015, there is a 5% decline.

During the reporting period – the first half of 2015 – Gameloft launched 9 games. These include Ice Age Avalanche and Siegefall, which the company hoped for in terms of revenue. Ice Age Avalanche, we note, is made based on an animated film Ice Age. Its main character is the famous squirrel Scrat (Scrat). However, even the hyped license did not help the game.

According to Gameloft representatives, the situation will change in favor of the company in the near future.

This will happen thanks to new projects that are being prepared for release, and its own advertising agency, opened in February 2015.

“We look to the future with confidence,” Gameloft CEO Michel Guillemot commented on the report.
