Yesterday it became known that the number of downloads of games released by the publishing company G5 Entertainment exceeded the landmark mark of 100 million.

As the company’s business development director Yulia Palatovskaya told us: “This proves that the transition to publishing games for mobile devices (smartphones and tablets) in 2009 was the right and timely decision.”According to her, the focus on developing mobile platforms and its own cross-platform engine contributed to the company’s growth.

If in 2009 G5 Entertainment released only 9 projects, in 2012 it managed to publish up to several projects per week.

Next year, the company plans to focus on developing projects with “free-to-play monetization”. However, G5 Entertainment is also not going to abandon the publication of traditional adventure games.
