G5 Entertainment: more than 20% of Russian and more than 10% of Ukrainian employees of the company have left their countries

The Swedish company G5 Entertainment, which has offices in Russia and Ukraine, reported how it is changing its processes in connection with the so-called special operation. Among the measures taken: opening offices in four new countries for it and stopping the distribution of games in Russia.

  • the company expects a “natural significant reduction” of its staff in Russia;
  • At the moment, G5 Entertainment is launching offices in Armenia, Georgia, Poland and Montenegro;
  • vacancies will soon open in these countries and onboarding of those who have left their countries in recent weeks will begin;

In the letter, the company openly criticizes Russia’s actions in Ukraine and calls the special operation an “invasion“.

G5 Entertainment notes that it cannot continue operating in Russia “as if nothing had happened.” She stated that she was going to gradually stop local distribution of her products.
