Fuse Powered mobile monetization service has acquired a company that develops cross-platform tools for creating games and applications. Details of the transaction have not yet been disclosed.

John Walsh, executive director of Fuse Powered, told VentureBeat that the purchase of Corona Labs will help the company to cooperate with customers at earlier stages than before. Developers will simultaneously have access to tools for creating, working with, and monetizing mobile games and applications.  

“Over the past few years, we have created a powerful platform for developers,” said Walter Luh, CEO of Corona Labs. “Fuse is a company that, like us, sees its task in simplifying the process of creating successful mobile games for developers. We will continue to work on the Corona platform, and our clients will have tools for monetization and publishing of their projects. And this is just the beginning.”
