Epic Games opens a studio in Cologne. She will also deal with streaming technologies

In the company’s press release, the studio is called Epic Games Cologne. There is no information about her current projects. It is noted only that among its tasks is the development of “new forms of interactive media” and streaming technologies.

But the management is already known. The team will be led by Studio Director Achim Moller and Online Technology Director Julian Eggebrecht. Both of them are the founders of the Factor 5 studio and had a hand in the creation of Turrican, Star Wars: Rogue Squadron and Lair.

Together with them, Epic Games Cologne included some Factor 5 developers. Epic Games plans to hire the rest of the staff in the near future, according to Pocket Gamer.
