Endless Lake has received 12 million users in three weeks on the new Facebook Instant Games platform.
This was told to PocketGamer by the CEO of the Dutch Spil, Tung Nguyen-Kak (Tung Nguyen-Khac).
Spil met with Facebook last August and asked for help promoting their games. Among a number of demonstrated projects, the Facebook team liked Endless Lake. The project was suitable for Instant Game s: it was an HTML5 project with short sessions and the ability to compete.
The game was among the first projects for the platform and in the first three weeks 12 million people played it 33 million times.
Yesterday, Facebook named Endless Lake one of the three best Instant Games.
Simultaneously with the release on the social platform, the game appeared on iOS and Android. During the same period, native versions received 100 thousand downloads.
