Now the statistics are as follows: two-thirds of American mobile users play mobile games at least once a month. This is 56% of the total population of the States or 180.4 million people, which is 9.4% more than last year. At that time, 164.9 million people played mobile games every month.
eMarketer experts are sure that growth will continue in the near future. By 2020, the number of mobile gamers will reach 213 million. This is 77% of all smartphone users and 64% of the total US population.
With tablets – the same trend. Now 72.5% of users or 120 million people play games on these devices at least once a month. By 2020, this number will reach 140 million, which will account for three-quarters of all tablet users in the United States.
