Minimalistic match 3 recently celebrated its first Birthday, and its developers from Playdots (the studio works as part of the Betaworks incubator) reported breaking the mark of 20 million downloads.
For comparison, in the first 7 days of its existence on the market, the game gained 1 million downloads.
The creators of the game in connection with the Birthday of Dots also shared the level of retention in it. According to them, the retention of Dots on the seventh day is from 20% to 40%. However, this is not more impressive. Playdots claims that 25% of users (that is, about 5 million) who have played Dots at least once still regularly return to the project.
