In a June report published by Distimo, Clash of Clans stands out against the background of other popular applications: its revenue has tripled. Such an increase in the game’s performance ensured its success in the Japanese market.

The fact is that on June 17, the Clash of Clans update appeared with Japanese language support. After that, a cross-promotion was organized along with Puzzle & Dragons, the most profitable iOS game in Japan in 2013.

Judging by the Distimo report, the results are impressive: “In the first six days of July, Clash of Clans has already earned 61% of all June revenue in Japan.” It will be interesting to see how this unprecedented start will affect the statistics of the global revenue of the game received from iOS at the end of July.

During June, Clash of Clans held the second place among the most profitable iOS games in the world – it was surpassed only by Candy Crush Saga from developer King. Source: pocketgamer.biz
