The original Crossy Road was released in November 2014. The game popularized among developers the fashion for styling under voxel graphics and monetization for the sale of skins of game characters.
In the first three months of release, the game earned $ 10 million, and its downloads amounted to 50 million. In March last year, the game had 120 million installations.
