During the fall, the runner from Gameloft scored another 50 million installations. So the total number of downloads has reached a crushing 150 million. 

Recall that over the summer, a free game based on the theme of the Despicable Me cartoon series was downloaded about 100 million times. Its box office results are still far from ideal, but the brand, which is very popular among children, provides stable downloads for the game, despite its mediocre quality. 

An important role in the acquisition of downloads this fall was also played by the fact that the game appeared on the Kakao platform. So Despicable Me: Minion Rush was able to re-take off to the tops in South Korea (before that, Gameloft independently launched the project in June). The game didn’t stay in the lead for a long time, but it was in the top five.
