The Chinese clone of Game of War from ELEX Wireless – Clash of Kings – continues to gain momentum. The project entered the box office Top 10 apps in 85 countries only on Google Play.

However, the Chinese themselves are more proud of another achievement: the fact that they simultaneously entered the Top 10 in more than 50 countries on the App Store. However, at the moment – on October 20 – this achievement is no longer relevant, since today the project is among the top ten “only” in 31 regions.

The most loyal country of the big markets in relation to Clash of Kings is Russia, where the project has been leading the Google Play box office top for more than a month and is fighting for the first place in the App Store box office top with varying success.

At the same time, it cannot be said that ELEX Wireless is actively spent anywhere to achieve dominant positions in the free top. More precisely, it was relevant for the company in spring and summer, but now it supports its downloads in a number of regions at the level of Top-300/Top-500, which, as we can see, does not prevent it from earning decent amounts from those markets where it once spent decently on downloads, the total number of which reached the mark of 70 million (back in August it was 65 million).

The latter circumstance demonstrates two points.

Firstly, apparently, the high efficiency of ELEX Wireless advertising campaigns. Secondly, high retention and high-quality monetization of the project itself. In other words, this is exactly the project that you can look up to.
