The British company Revolution has sent the game Broken Sword – the Serpent’s Curse: Episode 1 to Apple for consideration. If everything goes well, then the game will appear in the App Store very soon. Previously, the project has already been released on PC and PS Vita.

Broken Sword – the Serpent’s Curse is the first Revolution game created with money raised through Kickstarter. Having received $ 800 thousand, the developers created a beautiful old-fashioned adventure game in which, like 20 years ago, you need to solve puzzles, talk with colorful characters and unravel plot riddles.

The first episode of Broken Sword – the Serpent’s Curse was received with skepticism by Western game critics (68 Meters), but received high average scores from users (8.1). Russian journalists perceived the project differently. For example, the Riot Pixels website gave the game 65 points, and Anton Logvinov praised the classic quest in his blog.

Revolution has a lot of experience in adapting old games for iOS, so Broken Sword 5 should be great to play on tablets and smartphones. Now the company is working on a sequel to another classic game – Beneath a Steel Sky, and is also finishing the second episode of Broken Sword 5.

At the conference for game developers Winter Nights 2014, which opens next week in St. Petersburg, you will be able to personally communicate with the founder of Revolution Charles Cecil (Charles Cecil).

She became famous for The Broken Sword adventure series. She also noted the cult quest Beneath a Steel Sky and the spy game In Cold Blood.
