Brendan Greene has resigned as head of development of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Battle Royale. This is reported in his personal Twitter account.
Green will remain at PUBG Corp, Eurogamer writes. He will move to Amsterdam and head the new department of the company responsible for special projects. Green will have to organize the work of the unit from scratch.
Creator of PUBG
After becoming the head of PUBG Special Projects, Green will continue to advise the PUBG team as Creative Director. Further control over the development of the game will fall on Taeseok Yang (Taeseok Jang).
Now PUBG is one of the most popular battle royales in the world. In December, its DAU was 30 million users, and the audience of the mobile version of the title alone is comparable to the audience of Fortnite on all platforms.
