Following the re-release of Starcraft, Blizzard is preparing remaster versions of the Warcraft 3 strategy and the Diablo 2 role-playing action, IGN reports.
IGN drew attention to the job description of a leading software engineer posted on the Blizzard website. The text says:
Exciting stories. Intense multiplayer. Endless replayability. The qualities that made StarCraft, Warcraft III and Diablo II the titans of their time.
New operating systems, computer hardware and online services prevent old fans and the younger generation from joining these games.
That's why we're giving them back the glory, and we need your engineering talents, passion, and your ability to complete difficult tasks.
Also in the list of the required employees is the interface designer, whose tasks also mention StarCraft, Warcraft and Diablo.
Both positions are open to applicants in the Classic Games division, which supports classic Blizzard titles of the 90s of the last century.
At the end of March this year, Blizzard announced a remaster of the first part of the Starcraft strategy, which is due to be released this summer. The company has not yet announced work on the re-release of Warcraft III and Diablo II.
