The new Age of Empires game will see the light. At least, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates promised to “consider this possibility.”
The conversation about the new Age of Empires came at a question-and-answer session for the Reddit resource. A user under the nickname le-click asked: “Mr. Gates, can we have another Age of Empires, please? I’m not sure if this is in your line, but I decided to ask anyway, since you’re here… Thank you!”. Later, the author of the question added: “Bill, pzhlst, I know you’ve read this.”
Gates replied as follows: “I will consider this possibility. How many parts are needed?”. Opinions were divided here. Some commenters asked for “all parts”. Others just wished for a new version of Windows.
Let’s add that Gates has not directly managed Microsoft since 2008, but is on the board of directors and holds a large percentage of shares. Therefore, the new Age of Empires will eventually come out or not – one can only guess.
