Canadian HTML5 game developer Big Viking has signed a five-year deal with comic book publisher Valiant Entertainment. Subject of the contract: creation of mobile games based on the IP publishing house.
The studio plans to independently develop games based on comics, and publish similar titles. The main target is most likely projects for platforms like Instant Games, which allow you to run games on a mobile device without downloading.
Big Viking is one of the preachers of HTML5 development. The company, founded by Kontagent CEO and President Albert Lai in 2011, has grown to 100 employees and two offices in five years.
The main project of the company is the game YoWorld (formerly YoVille), which was bought from Zynga.

In January of this year, Big Viking acquired the marketing company Gallop Labs, then in November raised $21.5 investments to create games for messengers, after which it launched a $10 million fund for HTML5 developers.
Valiant Entertainment is an independent comic book publisher. His series (including the main ones – X-O Manowar, Bloodshot, Harbinger and Shadowman) are little known in Russia. But the situation may change very soon. Last year, Sony Pictures bought the rights to shoot films based on the Bloodshot and Harbinger series.
