The cross-content promotion model is becoming increasingly popular on the mobile market (this is when the characters of one project appear in another). Next up is the collaboration between GungHo and Warner Bros.

As it became known today, in Puzzle & Dragons, the next event, whose start is scheduled for November 12, will be directly related to The Batman: Arkham Origins. Players will fight Batman’s antagonists, and will also be able to get such characters as Robin, Catwoman, Joker and others into their deck.

This is a mutually beneficial step both for GungHo, which such an action will help popularize Puzzle & Dragons among American users, and for Warner Bros., which is interested in the Japanese market and has recently released console and mobile versions of The Batman: Arkham Origins.

Recall that a similar promotion of Clash of Clans in Puzzle & Dragons allowed the Finnish game to gain a foothold in the top ten in Japan.

For Japanese butlers, thematically, events are an ordinary practice. Earlier in the same Puzzle & Dragons, for example, the heroes of “Evangelion” have already appeared.
