This year Wargaming will celebrate 10 years of World of Tanks. The company reported that 160 million players had registered in the game during the operation.
As Maxim Chuvalov, the global publishing director of the title, stated: “Over these 10 years, we have managed not just to create a successful game – we have been able to rally a huge number of people around it into a close, almost family community.”
The release of World of Tanks took place on August 12, 2010. In honor of the anniversary, tomorrow, April 22, the game will launch a festive event “Decade” with special missions, valuable awards and other features. It will last four months.
Previously, Wargaming announced plans to support its flagship title for another 20 years.
