The Federal Tax Service of the Russian Federation registered the “Party of Direct Democracy” on April 1. Recall that this party is headed by Vyacheslav Makarov, ex-product director of World of Tanks.
Now Makarov’s organization is actively preparing for regional elections (although they were postponed due to COVID-19). To do this, it must open its branches in at least 43 regions of the country. We add that if successful on the ground, members of the “Party of Direct Democracy” plan to be elected to the State Duma.
Makarov left Wargaming for political activity on January 13. His party does not have a specific program. Its main goal is to develop a blockchain application for elections and referendums. Its launch is scheduled for September.
