Arkadium, using the example of its games, notes a 35% increase in the number of active users among owners of Windows 8 devices. In this scenario, the iOS application market seems less stable to them.
Executive Director and one of the founders of Arkadium Kenny Rosenblatt claims that during the period from January to April 2013, the number of active users and daily gaming sessions on Windows 8 increased by more than 35%.Arkadium also cites the following opinion of experts from App Annie: games on Windows 8 “hold on to the first lines of applications more firmly than on the iPad.”
Compare: for a period of 90 days, games spend about 19 days in the top five on Windows 8, and only about 7 days on the iPad.
The main difficulty Arkadium faces in the new market is the insufficient number of tools to attract users. With this, Kenny Rosenblat explains the need to create his own analytical system, which is already being worked on.
