The top free games were very much rebuilt in April.

Let’s note the most notable things:

• there are a lot of new products in the chart, two of them are published by Lion Studios;
• there is not a single novelty from Voodoo, which a month earlier was responsible for a third of the top (most likely, the company will compensate for this in May, when the French are going to release Helix Jump 2);
• Playrix has become more active: the company has two games in the top ten — Gardenscapes and Fishdom.

1) Save The Girl

Lion Studios‘ novelty is one of the first popular mobile games whose gameplay is inspired by successful advertising creatives. The main character of the game constantly gets into critical situations. The user’s task is to choose the right item to get out of the situation.

• ranked 2nd in downloads on both platforms — 41.8 million;
• ranked 1st in downloads on Google Play — 32 million;
• took 1st place in iOS downloads — 9.8 million .

2) Go Knots 3D

This is a development of the Turkish Rollic Games, which is now rapidly gaining momentum. The goal of each Go Knots 3D level is to connect the ends of each of the chains to each other.

4) “The Master of the Sword” (宝剑大))

A hyper-casual novelty from Ohayoo, owned by ByteDance (TikTok). It was distributed in April only in China. In the game, the user makes a weapon (for example, a sword), and then cuts something with it (a hamburger or a bunch of bananas).

• ranked 8th in iOS downloads — 4.6 million .

5) ASMR Slicing

Crazy Labs has released a very meditative game about cutting various objects with a knife or other improvised means. They offer, among other things, to carve up an aquarium with fish, a planet, as well as a hollow squirrel.

Highest – grossing games

As a month earlier, according to AppMagic, there were almost no permutations in the top. The most significant change is the growth of Roblox‘s position in the Android chart.

Note: to date, there is no dominance of any direction or genre in the charts. Comparable amounts are earned by games of various genres and settings.
