The main feature of the new Apple smartphones has become 3D Touch technology, also previously known (within the Apple Watch) as Force Touch.
The essence of the technology boils down to the fact that the force of pressing determines the type of interaction with the system and applications.
For example, it will now be possible to launch the context menu with its help. Or, alternatively, in the mailbox, do not open each letter to see what it is about, but call it with a light tap of the preview.
But much more interesting opportunities are opening up here for gaming companies. For example, a stronger tap on the screen can lead to a change of weapons if the user is playing some kind of third-person shooter.

The prices for the devices will be the same as for the previous generation, which is cheaper by $100 in the USA today or tomorrow.
Apple also announced the launch of a program that can be described as an iPhone subscription. Its essence boils down to the fact that users will pay $32 per month, and for this they will have an Apple smartphone updated every year. This initiative is called the iPhone Upgrade Program.
Pre-order for gadgets will be available from September 12, they will be available in the USA, China and several other countries on September 25. By the end of the year, Apple has promised to release the latest generation smartphones in 130 regions.
The release of iOS 9 is scheduled for September 16.
