Apple has given the go-ahead to developers, and now the cheapest games and apps in the App Store will cost at least £0.99 in the United Kingdom and €0.99 in the rest of the Eurozone.
Europeans have always felt aggrieved because of the dollar-euro exchange rate. And Apple doesn’t stop tightening the screws.
In the UK, the minimum price for games and apps in the App Store was originally £0.59, but in June 2011 it was increased to £0.69. In the rest of Europe, the minimum bar was raised from €0.79 to €0.89 in October 2012.
And here’s another promotion. This time it is more radical – up to 0.99 pounds and euros in the respective countries.
The first swallow of the new “mode” was the game of Chillingo studio – Bridgy Jones. The other day it cost £0.69 in England and €0.89 in Europe, and now they “want” more for it. The price increase did not bypass Russia either. The minimum price of the application on the domestic market has risen from 33 to 39 rubles.
