Apple is going to tighten the “infamous” article 2.25 of the rules for using the Apple App Store. Thus, the struggle of the giant from Cupertino with recommendation services has entered a new phase.

Many people remember the recent story of the removal of the AppGratis application from the Apple App Store, which reports free programs and sales in iTunes, on charges of violating this article. Even earlier, the same fate befell a similar functional app App Shopper, although at the end of April this year, it was “reinstated”.

Now, according to the information received PocketGamer.biz , an application may be denied placement in the App Store if it contains “filtering, bookmarking, searching or sharing of other applications”. This was told to the resource by one of the developers who received a refusal from Apple to place an application with exactly this wording.

For now, however, the official text of article 2.25 remains the same: “applications that provide information about other applications for their promotion or sale, in a way similar to the App Store, will be denied placement.”
