App Annie analysts have published two charts. In one — the most downloaded games of the last ten years, and in the other — the most profitable. There were no surprises.
The most downloaded games of the decade
Subway Surfers endless runner has the most downloads for the period from 2010 to 2019. Moreover, India is responsible for 15% of its downloads. Note: there are a lot of runners in the top overall. Temple Run 2 is in third place in downloads, and Minion Rush is in eighth place.
The highest – grossing games of the decade
Clash of Clans has earned the most mobile games in history. The exact amount, however, App Annie does not specify. Completing the top ten is another game of the Finnish Supercell — Clash Royale. There is only one three-in-a—row in the top – Candy Crush Saga. She’s in third place.
Nuance: up to and including December 31, 2011, App Annie collected only iOS data. Then we were talking about full-fledged aggregate indicators.
