App Annie has launched a couple of new market monitoring tools: Intelligence Web and Intelligence Visualization. Both are designed to help developers in researching the data offered by the service.

Intelligence Web provides access to the daily estimated downloads and revenue of all apps indexed by App Annie. Intelligence Visualization, in turn, demonstrates with the help of Tableau Workbooks detailed data concerning the team’s own releases.

App Annie also told why developers need her new services:

  • Confidence in decision-making: with the help of the data obtained, developers will be able to monitor their competitors, learn from their mistakes or study the reasons for their success. To see how the marketing campaign affected the downloads or income of the current leader a year ago? Easy!
  • They say the data is available even from smartphones and tablets. Did you argue with the client about the effectiveness of advertising? Show him that he is wrong.
  • Full customization of the output data for your application. You track only what is interesting to you.

Prices, however, bite. An annual subscription to reports from App Annie starts at $15 thousand.

Applies only to the App Store and Google Play.
