The exclusive release of the game Plants vs. Zombies 2 for iOS devices will take place on July 18, according to the developer company Popcap Games.
The sequel of the game, unlike the original, will be available for free download. According to the company, the second part will be a “service game” (and, apparently, as is now usual, with a social component). Already, the developers promise to regularly release new game modes.
In the release version, however, there will be only two of them: the original tower defense and the mysterious time travel (will it be possible to roll back time?). Also, there will be new levels, plant species, zombies and bonuses.
The publisher of the Electronic Arts project is currently seriously intending to develop the Plants vs. Zombies brand, as evidenced not only by the announcement of the second part of the game, but also by the recent release of its social version.
