The average daily number of Russian users accessing Runet from Android devices in April came close to the number of users using a Windows 7-based personal computer for this purpose.
We came to this conclusion after studying the statistics liveinternet.ru , limited by the criterion “visitors from Russia”. According to the service, the average daily number of Russian visitors to Runet in April amounted to 82.7 million people.
34.9% (about 28.8 million people) of them used a Windows 7-based PC to access the Network. But, attention, 26.7% (about 22 million people) of users access the Runet from Android devices.
For comparison, for Windows XP – 11.5% (9.4 million), for Windows 8 – 5.7% (4.5 million), and for iOS – 12.8% (about 11 million).
