Natives of AppQuantum have announced the launch of their own game publishing house. A new company under the label 10k Riders Publishing is going to launch mobile freeplay titles. 8 studios have already been announced among the partners.

The publishing house is headed by Ilya Tumenko, who previously held the post of Publishing Director at AppQuantum. He is also one of the two key owners of the young company. The second is an anonymous investor, whom Ilya is not ready to name yet. Also, the key team has options, part of which also previously worked in AppQuantum.

10k Riders Publishing will work with a wide profile of mobile freeplay titles (primarily with casual and midcore products). At the same time, he has no plans to engage in “pure hyper-casual games” and mobile hardcore titles (for example, 4X strategies). “But there are plans to work with hyper—casual teams,” adds Tumenko.

The company says it is ready to help game studios, starting with the prototype. Moreover, if there is nothing but a team, then 10k Riders Publishing has the option of joint development (the publisher himself will offer the idea of a future product, will help bring the game to the MVP stage, and then to a full-fledged release).

10k Riders Publishing has other partnership schemes. For example, hybrid, implying non-exclusive promotion and provision of additional client services on request.

The publisher has already signed contracts to work with 8 small teams. We are talking about FredBear Games, Double Dice Games, KruGames, Vesta Soft, Lazy Turtle Games, KIDAPP, TopChan Games and BroDev Studio. 10k Riders Publishing itself currently employs 15 people.

Tumenko says that the company has “the infrastructure is ready, people are charged, the goal is to break the market.”
