Paying users spend the most money on IAP on the first day of the game, according to Playnomics experts.

In the company’s report for the 3rd quarter of 2013, analysts compared the behavior of mobile paying players and those users who play web projects.

As a result, it turned out that 63% of the money that games earn in their lifetime from one player, they receive on the day of the first IAP. In web projects, this figure is only 10.4%.

The company also found out that top mobile payers (20% of the paying gaming audience) are responsible for only 56% of the amount spent by users on the project. On the web, such accounts for 86.7% of the amount received by developers as a result.

However, the number of whales on both platforms is the same: 1% of users in both the mobile and web segment account for about 30% of spending.
