By the end of 2019, App Annie has collected the top 10 highest-grossing mobile companies with headquarters in Russia. Most of them are engaged in game development.
Important: there is neither Playrix nor Kamagames in the top, which were founded earlier in Russia, but whose head offices are located in Ireland today.
- First place in the top for Mail.Ru Group. Today it includes 13 development studios, some of which operate under their own brand. Including: BIT.GAMES, SWAG.MASHA, Panzerdog and Pixonic.
- In the second position is the rapidly growing MyTona, which has also been actively opening offices abroad in recent years.
- The Volgograd Kefir is in the third position, now focusing on the development of isometric survivalists.
Of the non-gaming companies in the top, only FaceApp, Ultimate Guitar, Liters and UMA. The rest are engaged in games.
