A ZeptoLab representative stated App2Top.ru that by the end of 2014, more than 300 names of various retail products under the brand of the mobile game Cut The Rope will be on sale in Russia.
The first steps in this direction were made already in May-June. Then ZeptoLab launched together with the online store Trends Brands a women’s clothing collection for 12 items. The main character of the collection was Am Yum.
“Items from the collection were received with a bang not only by fans of Cut the Rope, but also by more than 50 publications in the field of fashion and lifestyle, for example Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire, Glamour, Yes!, Billboard. The promotion started on May 15 and in the first 3 days of pre-orders, 70% of the total volume produced was sold out,” Valentin Roshchin-Kulakov, Global Marketing Manager at ZeptoLab, told us.
And now the company is preparing for a “large-scale launch of licensed Cut the Rope products in Russia.”
However, at the moment it is unknown who exactly the company will work with, in other words, who will make and sell licensed products.
It should be recalled that recently an international joint campaign of ZeptoLab and McDonald’s was also launched, within the framework of which children’s “Happy Meal” kits in fast food chains are sold under the Cut the Rope brand.
