Supercell has launched a new Everdale game in softlonch. This is a casual urban planning simulator in a fabulous setting, focused on co-passing. If Everdale’s global launch does take place, it will be the first new IP of a Finnish company since Brawl Stars.

The beta version of Everdale has been released on iOS and Android in Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, the Nordic countries and the Philippines. Supercell explains the massive softlonch in several regions at once by the social orientation of the project — a soft launch for a narrow audience would simply not work.

Unlike other titles of the company, there is no competitive element in Everdale — everything is built on cooperation and peaceful development. “There are no wars and loot collection in the game — only a good mood and interaction with friends,” the developers note.

The player starts by developing his own village. The gameplay is based on the construction of buildings, the collection of resources, the discovery of new technologies, pumping and customization of residents, as well as trade and exchange of resources.

The difference from most urban planning simulators is that at a certain stage the player gets into the valley — a hub in which you can interact with other users. Here the players are united in teams of ten people. Together, they can help develop each other’s villages, mining resources together and creating new items and buildings.

Like most modern mobile titles, Everdale makes a big bet on in-game events. Some events caused by the spirits living in this world will have a global impact on the valley. According to Supercell, the game will constantly evolve and offer users new stories and other content.

Supercell stresses that Everdale may still not get to a global release. However, the company sees potential in the project and is optimistic. Recall that the Finnish studio has now closed seven titles that were previously released in softlonch. Among them was the Hay Day Pop puzzle, which earned about $1 million as part of a soft launch.

In addition to Everdale, Supercell is currently working on three titles in the Clash of Clans and Clah Royale universe. They were announced in April, but so far the company does not name even approximate release dates.

Supercell also started issuing licenses for its IP to third-party studios in which it invested. In June, the release of the closed alpha of the Boom Beach project: Frontlines took place. By the end of the year, he should be out in the open softlonch.
