Valve has announced the development of a new title based on MOBA Dota — a collectible card game Artifact.
It will be released in 2018. The work on Artifact was announced on August 8 at the seventh annual The International Dota 2 tournament.
It is not yet known whether Artifact will appear on mobile platforms.
According to the forecast of the analytical company SuperData, the turnover of the niche of digital card collectible games this year may reach $ 1.4 billion.
Blizzard’s Hearthstone remains the largest project in this segment, earning about $40 million a month.
