The Transformers: Earth Wars mobile strategy from Backflip Studios and Space Ape Games has been downloaded 10 million times in 12 months since the game’s worldwide release.
The developers will celebrate the first anniversary of the project with the release of additional content and game events over the next month.
Transformers: Earth Wars won the “Game of the Year” award at the 2016 TIGA Awards ceremony.
Backflip Studios in Transformers: Earth Wars transferred the Transformers media franchise to the Rival Kingdoms mobile strategy mechanics from Space Ape Games.
Rival Kingdoms, in turn, is a clone of Clash of Clans of the Finnish Supercell.
