The Russian company Playrix yesterday, August 25, published a new three-in-a-row – Gardenscapes. During the day, the game was downloaded more than 1 million times, and in the American App Store it began to earn more per day than Juice Jam and Zynga Poker.
On the evening of Friday, August 26, the project occupies 105th place in the box office gaming top of the iPad App Store in the USA, 53rd place in Germany, 63rd place in the UK, 44th place in France, and 53rd place in Russia.
Moreover, “the game has entered the top 10 free games on iPhone and iPad in 100 countries,” said Playrix Creative Director Igor Elovikov.
Good downloads can be explained both by the game’s large feature (on the main banner in the iTunes Home Page, it is promoted by Apple in more than 77 countries), and, possibly, by draining traffic from equally successful Township and Fishdom, as well as serious purchases of advertising traffic (we have already seen advertising for the game in a number of applications).
The position of the game in the gaming box office top of the iPad App Store (USA)
The project was released not only on the App Store, but also on Google Play and Amazon Appstore.
The position of the game in the top of the main Android store is still low, which is understandable: here the position of the game in the top is determined by data for several days. And in Amazon, the game in the USA is already in fifth place in the top of free apps.
Gardenscapes differs little from Fishdom in terms of root mechanics. Its essential difference is in the “binding”, which is the history of the restoration of the old villa.
Recall, according to App Annie, Playrix has become the most profitable company among game developers in the CIS and the Baltic States by the end of the first half of 2016. In the event that Gardenscapes shows a stable result, Playrix’s position as one of the leading Russian companies will strengthen.
