The series includes 15 titles that were published on 26 platforms. The last part of Nobunaga’s Ambition: Taishi was released on November 30, 2017 on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and PC.
The first part of Nobunaga’s Ambition was released by the Japanese company Koei on March 30, 1983 on PC. The creator of the game Kou Shibusawa (Kou Shibusawa) completely wrote it in the Basic programming language.
