Age of Empires IV has lost its lead in the Steam bestseller chart — last week the game dropped to the second line of the rating. Instead, the best-selling title was Forza Horizon 5, which is scheduled for release on November 9.

Forza Horizon 5
The racing game from Playground Games is located on two lines in the chart at once.

In addition to the first place, Forza Horizon 5 also got the fifth. This is not surprising. According to the Video Games Chronicle portal, on Friday, November 5, the developers opened early access to the title to Premium Edition buyers and Xbox Game Pass subscribers (who bought the addon before the premium version). As a result, the next day the number of players in it exceeded 800 thousand people.

Earlier, Forza Horizon 5 became the most highly rated game of 2021 on OpenCritic, where it received 92 points out of 100 from critics. But note that on Metacritic the rating of the game is slightly lower — 91 points out of 100, which puts it in sixth place on this site.

The third place in the Steam bestseller chart went to the Elden Ring pre-order. The release of the fantasy action RPG is scheduled for February 25, 2022.

The fourth place was taken by New World, which for the first time in seven weeks failed to get into the top three sales leaders. Back 4 Blood, which was on the fourth line last time, has now dropped to the seventh.

Football Manager 2022 did not hold its position either — the game went from sixth place to eighth.

The tenth place in the Steam bestseller chart was taken by the platinum pack for the Korean MMORPG Lost Ark. It not only gives various bonuses, but also gives Western gamers access to the closed beta of the game. Recall that the title has been available in Russia since the fall of 2019.
