Finnish studio Frogmind held a “soft launch” of the new mobile title Rumble Stars Soccer on iOS. The game is somewhat reminiscent of Clash Royale — the main hit of Supercell, which bought a controlling stake in Frogmind at the end of 2016.
Rumble Stars Soccer combines the mechanics of buttler and regular football. Players control teams of characters with different abilities that can be combined to achieve an advantage on the field.
The game is free to download. It is already available in the App Store of Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Iceland and the Netherlands, as well as in Thailand, Vietnam and the Philippines. The developers promise to release Rumble Stars Soccer on Android in the future.
Rumble Stars Soccer is the second Frogmind freeplay title. Last year, she held a softlonch of the Badlands Brawl battler, which belongs to the flagship Badlands franchise, but unlike previous games, it is sharpened for competitive gameplay. The project has not yet been released worldwide.
