The Japanese role-playing game Final Fantasy XV by Square Enix has sold 6.5 million copies in the 10 months since the release of the title at the end of November last year.
This was announced by the project director Hajime Tabata (Hajime Tabata).
He said that Square will be adding new content to the game until the release of the PC version of Final Fantasy XV, which is scheduled for early next year.
In addition, a mobile version of Final Fantasy XV for iOS and Android platforms will be released at the end of this year.
Tabata added that despite the commercial success of the project, after the release of the PC and mobile version, Square Enix intends to put an end to Final Fantasy XV and move on to the development of the next game.
