At the last The Game Awards, Saber Interactive studio announced the sequel to Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine. The creation of a third-person shooter is handled by a division from St. Petersburg, and the head of the World War Z team heads the development.
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 will tell about the struggle of space marines with tyranids. In the debut trailer, Saber Interactive showed a CGI scene and a small staged piece of gameplay.
The main character of the game will be Captain Titus, who was also the protagonist of the first part. His role will be played by actor Clive Standen (Clive Standen), known for the TV series “Vikings” and “Robin Hood“.
Space Marine 2 will be released on PC and PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles. The exact release date is still unknown. The publisher of the action will be Focus Entertainment.

The first part of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine was released in 2011. Relic Entertainment studio, known for the strategies of Company of Heroes and Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War, was responsible for the development of the project. The publisher of the action was THQ, which at that time had not yet declared bankruptcy.
Saber Interactive is an international company with offices in the USA, Russia, Spain, Portugal, Belarus and Sweden. In February last year, it was bought by Embracer Group holding for $150 million. Since then, Saber has also included 4A Games, 3D Realms and a number of other companies.
